I can still smell your sweet honesty perfume, every time I walk into a room. And although you’ve only been gone a year, your angelic voice in my head, I can still hear. You were my best friend, my mother, someone who can never be replaced. Without you in my life, everything is misplaced. But I know you are guarding me from a better land, As you rest peacefully in God’s healing hands. I can only dream of the day I see you again, As I feel your presence, linger in the wind. For you are a guardian angel who uses a rainbow to light my way. And you are in my thoughts each and every day. So as you dance by the light of the moon and play amongst the stars, remember, I love you mom. You will always be living within my heart. Happy Mother’s Day.
